Photographer Daniel Hurter – Selfportrait
To be a photographer, is not work for me but passion. As with any creative profession talent, heart blood and ambition are the engine also with a commercial photographer for top performances. As a photographer, I live with the eyes and I stand out due to curiosity, intuition, openness, courage and perseverance.
Each image is subjective and does not show what you see but how you see it.
That's why it is important, who shoots the picture. To see the life instinctively through the camera and the ready picture in front of himself, is a must for any good photographer. Specialization for me would mean monotony. No one would expect from a talented chef, to cook only pasta.
For 23 years I'm moving as an independant photographer on various platforms. The variety of jobs keeps me in suspense. Versatility has a lot to do with risk taking, flexibility and resilience. As a customer one often overlooks under which pressure a photographer is. People constantly look over one shoulder. Jobs usually cannot be repeated, unnoticed already not at all.
The digital technology allows us to go to the limits of feasibility. An emotional lighting is no longer at the expense of image quality. The right mix of professional photography and more intuitive image editing paves the way for sensational results.
