Food Photography & Food Styling – the art of seduction
Food shots, whether raw, roasted or boiled, are always a challenge. Nothing may look too moist or too dry.
The colors should look authentic and fresh. The food styling is enhancing the scene and creating a seductive effect. We have a specially-equipped kitchen for food shots and a variety of accessories, which makes the preparation of fresh foods easier and gives us maximum flexibility and efficiency when serving.
Unlike many photographers we take no pictures of «faked foods». With us, everything is authentic and just in time photographed.
Nowhere is the playful use of light and partial blur as important as in the food sector. They provide ease and excitement, but also a spring-like atmosphere.
On the one hand bright frontal or lateral light shall put accents. On the other hand disadvantageous color bleeding in pastel shades of porcelaine dishes, pasta, cream, asparagus etc. are a «no go».
We retouch each image perfectly, without destroying the seductive effect by over-perfectionism and we prepare all the image data ready for printing. For offset printing we deliver high-end color-accurate proofs.
